📋 Description

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and presentations for senior management • Assist in developing relevant organizational KPIs • Analyze current and past KPI trends across revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures • Identify risks and recommend financial actions • Generate internal management reports, including profitability, actual versus budget, churn, and cash flow forecasts • Assist with reporting and prepare presentations and stakeholder packages • Aid in preparing data rooms as required • Streamline and automate FP&A processes to improve efficiency and meet deadlines • Review and challenge business activities, projected outcomes, and key metric assumptions • Manage issues and ensure timely resolution • Assist with special projects and other duties as necessary • Work closely with financial reporting to ensure consistent accounting treatment and cohesive forward- and backward-looking financial information • Support annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation, including data collection, assumptions, documentation, and reporting • Contribute to the development of the FP&A function and provide real-time insights to senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA or CA designation would be considered an asset • 3+ years of progressive experience in a finance role in a fast paced environment • Experience in building and improving complex financial models • Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen • Exceptional communication skills and strong interpersonal skills • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail • Ability to solve problems and navigate complexity in a constantly evolving and often ambiguous environment • Expert Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to efficiently handle large data sets and concisely present and articulate to management • Strategic thinking and ability to drive business initiatives end to end and deliver insights • Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines • Commitment to working in team-based environments, promoting team effectiveness and contributing to a positive work environment • No Canadian work experience required
