📋 Description

• Review requirements, user stories, and design documents to create detailed test cases and checklists • Perform functional, integration, UI/UX, regression, cross-browser, cross-device, API, and data-layer testing • Execute manual tests, report defects with reproduction steps and severity levels, verify fixes, and conduct retesting and smoke testing • Maintain test case repositories and manage bugs in tracking tools • Support release validation in redesign, staging, production, and other required environments • Develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines • Prioritize automation based on risk, stability, and ROI • Validate data flows, transformations, business rules, aggregations, and synchronization across frontend, backend, database, and third-party systems • Perform SQL-based data verification where applicable • Build reusable test utilities and selectors • Use Git and test reporting tools for traceability • Capture logs, screenshots, and network traces to support debugging and root cause analysis • Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives • Communicate bugs and quality concerns to cross-functional teams • Clarify ambiguous requirements and help define acceptance criteria • Improve QA processes, checklists, test plans, and documentation • Provide usability feedback and maintain testing audit trails • Collaborate with developers, product managers, business, customer success, design teams, and the QA Team Lead • Adapt testing priorities in fast-paced environments and support high-pressure releases, rollbacks, and hotfixes

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of manual testing experience for web applications • 2+ years of automation testing experience; Playwright or Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript required • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban • Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools such as QASE, Testomat, and TestRail • Experience testing REST APIs • Experience with data verifications • Ability to test across various browsers and responsive breakpoints • Detail-oriented mindset and strong analytical thinking • Clear and concise written and verbal communication in English • Proactive cross-team communication • Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments • Ability to manage time and tasks independently • Proactive attitude and sense of ownership for quality • Comfortable switching between manual exploratory testing, automation, release validation, production support, and collaboration with engineering and product teams
