📋 Description

• Safely and effectively diagnose, repair and/or assemble Caterpillar mining and earthmoving equipment • Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment • Repair and/or assemble allied or competitive Caterpillar earthmoving equipment within established timelines and quality standards • Prepare accurate service reports and documentation • Participate in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors • Participate as an integrated member of onsite mechanical staff • Maintain good customer relations • Comply with company and customer health and safety policies and procedures • Work in rotational Fly-In Fly-Out positions at mine sites across the country

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary education in the field of heavy equipment mechanics or heavy engine mechanics • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technician in repair and service of heavy construction equipment and/or heavy mining equipment • Provincial trade license (Canadian Red Seal) • Underground common core certification an asset • Ability to safely and effectively diagnose, repair and/or assemble Caterpillar mining and earthmoving equipment • Ability to prepare accurate service reports and documentation • Ability to comply with company and customer health and safety policies and procedures • Non-unionized position
