📋 Description

• Gather, edit and proofread content for multiple print products • Edit and validate content source and quality efficiently and accurately • Follow up on missing details • Complete routine production tasks • Deliver accurate, error-free work to tight deadlines • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends • Build strong relationships within the team • Ensure readers receive high-quality newspaper products

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Journalism or a related field • Previous Journalism, Communications or Public Relations experience • Previous experience in a newspaper page production environment • Proficient in Microsoft and SharePoint • Knowledge of CP style • Strong grammar, sentence structure, spelling, punctuation and headline management skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and demanding environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Experience or knowledge of the NewsGate/Cue Print layout system considered a significant asset
