• Partner directly with the Country Lead France to co-create and execute the market’s people strategy • Design and implement localized people initiatives that balance Tourlane’s global culture with the specificities and expectations of the French market • Build strong relationships with French employees and the CSE, acting as a sparring partner for People Operations and the French Country Lead • Develop the employer brand strategy for France, positioning Tourlane as an employer of choice in the French tech and travel sector • Transform CSE relations from compliance-focused to strategic partnership, managing the agenda collaboratively with the Country Lead and Head of People Operations • Provide legal and operational advice to the People Operations team on standard HR cases in France • Oversee standard HR operations in France, including payroll, contract management, and HR initiatives outside of people development and recruiting • Serve as the primary contact for HR-related questions from French employees and managers, and collaborate with the global HR team on international HR initiatives
• Strong, practical knowledge of French labor law, including payroll, contract management, and CSE relations • Language proficiency: French (C1+) and English (B2+) • Experience working remotely with a proactive and clear communication style • Willingness and ability to occasionally facilitate team events and travel for those events • Proven skills in conflict mediation and resolution, with strong attention to detail and accuracy • Tech-savvy and self-starting: comfortable with Google Workspace, cloud payroll systems, and open to learning the HRIS Personio • Experience in a B2C sales environment is a plus; project management experience is preferred depending on scope
