• Support the management of regulatory matters, litigation, and escalated consumer complaints within a dynamic and highly regulated environment. • Working closely with Legal Counsel and cross-functional partners to ensure that legal files, documentation, and processes are maintained with precision, consistency, and audit readiness. • Maintain and update legal and regulatory records within HighQ, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and promptly reflected based on incoming consumer complaints, regulatory correspondence, and case developments. • Prepare and organize List Case Activities (LCA) worksheets, summaries, evidence, and supporting documentation. • Manage and maintain Legal shared drives, applying consistent naming conventions and version control practices. • Coordinate intake and documentation for new complaints by partnering with Complaint Management to gather case summaries, LCAs, and supporting materials. • Support handling escalated and regulatory complaints by preparing case files, tracking key milestones and timelines. • Track and maintain hearings, mediations, regulatory deadlines, limitation periods, and key milestones. • Support the development and maintenance of the Legal Knowledge Center by organizing templates, playbooks, regulatory guidance, and best practices. • Support coordination and communication between Legal Counsel, Complaint Management, Privacy, Compliance, and other internal teams.
• Paralegal diploma or equivalent legal training. • Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience in a legal, regulatory, or compliance environment (preferred). • Experience in a highly regulated industry (financial services, credit reporting, privacy) is an asset. • Bilingual in both English and French (written and spoken). • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment. • Effective communication and collaboration skills. • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling privileged and sensitive information. • Strong ethical judgment and discretion.
