📋 Description

• Design, implement, and operate robust, high-throughput distributed services including ML serving infrastructure • Evolve real time bidding (RTB) services and machine learning serving services and infrastructure • Manage and optimize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem • Design and maintain high-throughput distributed systems that gracefully handle large-scale data pipelines • Own and operate integrations with external partners, laying the foundation for long-term growth • Be a critical voice in technical strategy, architecture decisions, and product direction • Stay fast and focused, delivering impact through smart choices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and fellow engineers • Report directly to the Head of RTB (Thomas Boquet)

🎯 Requirements

• 7-12+ years of engineering experience, with a majority focused on backend or infrastructure systems • Expertise in utilizing GCP managed services (GKE, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery) to deploy, monitor, manage, and scale reliable systems • Experience building and operating ML serving infrastructure • Proficiency in Python • Experience with Kubernetes • Strong knowledge of architecting for resilience and high availability in cloud infrastructure • Experience designing and maintaining high-throughput distributed systems and large-scale data pipelines • Ability to balance speed, performance, and scalability with a 'get it done' mindset • Ability to optimize the tech stack to minimize required maintenance and maximize value discovery • Position is fully remote but must be based in the US or Canada
