📋 Description

• Own the project lifecycle from kickoff through closeout, including planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and transition to operations. • Review and internalize each project’s SOW; ensure work remains in scope while managing scope changes, risks, dependencies, and customer expectations. • Lead customer kickoff activities, define project objectives, establish timelines, and outline delivery plans and communication cadences. • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, deliverables, resource assignments, and risk/issue logs. • Coordinate work across security engineers, build engineers, SecOps analysts, and compliance teams. • Manage schedules, resources, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects; track progress and communicate status through reports, dashboards, and leadership updates. • Facilitate customer meetings, internal standups, and follow-ups to ensure timely task completion and blocker resolution. • Oversee compliance-driven project outcomes and ensure deliverables meet FedRAMP/FISMA/NIST/CMMC standards. • Lead ongoing Continuous Monitoring activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance deliverables. • Coordinate evidence collection, artifact updates, vulnerability review cycles, and POA&M maintenance. • Track recurring ConMon tasks in GitLab and ensure timely updates, ownership clarity, and closure of findings. • Monitor system changes, configuration updates, and security events for proper documentation in compliance artifacts. • Serve as the primary customer-facing contact for ConMon status updates, reporting, and audit preparation. • Ensure monitoring outputs remain audit-ready and meet regulatory requirements. • Identify systemic risks and drive remediation plans with internal teams. • Track, manage, and resolve customer tasks and operational issues using GitLab. • Coordinate stakeholders, escalate issues, and maintain delivery momentum. • Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and programmatic risks. • Support transition from implementation to steady-state operations, including knowledge transfer and handoff. • Manage multiple customers and internal team members while maintaining delivery quality and velocity. • Refine delivery processes, templates, and best practices across engagement management.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of direct project delivery experience, including Project Management, Engagement Management, Project Coordination, Customer Success, or similar roles. • 2+ years of experience with cloud, compliance (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, etc.), or infrastructure projects for government or commercial customers. • Experience with schedule management, resource management, budget tracking, and service delivery. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, customers, and cross-functional teams. • Experience managing SOWs, staying in scope, handling change orders, and executing delivery best practices (status reporting, tracking milestones, etc.). • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-success mindset. • Comfortable working in environments that require flexibility, initiative, and the ability to operate without rigid processes or structured training. • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field; MBA or master’s degree. (Desired.) • Demonstrated familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). • Experience with GitLab or similar tools for issue and task tracking. • Prior experience in security or compliance-driven environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, etc.). • Must be willing to work east coast hours.
