📋 Description

• Provide QC, quality audits, and project mentoring on substation projects • Submit Quality Reports as part of QC • Review Quality Escapes and identify root causes for quality errors • Develop and refine substation-specific quality processes, checklists, tools, and guidance • Communicate department-wide training and quality initiatives • Collaborate with department leadership on training needs and quality process improvements • Create and maintain training curriculum within Ulteig University • Engage in lessons learned and identify updates to quality checklists • Coordinate and schedule lunch and learn opportunities • Assist clients with technical training • Assess industry trends and new technologies • Spend approximately 60% of time on billable projects, including QC and quality audits, and 40% on training and quality initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering • 7+ years of substation structural design experience • PE License is required • Technical expertise, preferably subject matter expertise, in substation Structural Engineering • Eagerness and desire to support growth in others • Ability to work collaboratively across teams • Excellent organization and communication skills • Openness to innovation and applying evolving technology, including AI tools • Must have permanent work authorization to work in the US
