📋 Description

• Work with UI, encoding/decoding, networking, input, and other components across multiple platforms • Jump into a C codebase on day one and deploy code to more than 5 million people • Build cutting-edge gaming technology, from video rendering to UDP protocols • Find the right low-latency solutions to technical challenges • Listen to customer feedback and interpret broader community needs • Identify opportunities to deliver an exceptional customer experience • Drive innovation in Parsec’s core technology • Mentor other Parsec engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience working in a production C codebase • Familiarity with Windows desktop application development • A deep desire to learn, improve a product, and make customers happy • Experience working with a globally distributed team • English proficiency sufficient for professional verbal and written exchanges • Familiarity with macOS app development, including IOKit, CoreGraphics, window/input management, and shipping native apps on macOS (bonus) • Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu app development (bonus) • Familiarity with Windows and Mac driver development (bonus) • Video game industry experience or extensive computer gaming experience (bonus) • Must be located in Canada; work visa or immigration sponsorship is not available • Relocation support is not available
