📋 Description

• Own the Upbound funnel end to end • Own full-funnel growth for the commercial platform, with Crossplane and Modelplane driving open-source top-of-funnel activity • Own the campaign roadmap and program budget, with regular business reviews alongside marketing and sales leadership • Set paid-media channel mix, targeting, and efficiency standards against company and sales targets • Own lifecycle marketing and marketing operations, including the marketing automation platform, attribution model, and funnel reporting • Own conversion, organic search, and AI answer visibility across upbound.io and modelplane.ai • Own the self-serve motion from signup through activation to paid conversion in partnership with product and engineering • Build and manage a growth team over several quarters • Manage relationships and efficiencies with agencies and vendors • Evaluate, pilot, adopt, and retire AI-native marketing tools • Replace manual reporting with AI-assisted analysis • Compress campaign production cycles across audience research, creative variants, landing pages, and iteration • Build agentic workflows for list building, enrichment, signal routing, and post-campaign analysis • Establish standards for reviewing AI-assisted work for speed and accuracy • Develop the funnel strategy for buyers researching through AI assistants

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in B2B marketing • At least 3 years leading growth, demand generation, or acquisition • Experience owning a meaningful program budget and explaining allocation, returns, and reductions • Hands-on experience with ad platforms, marketing automation platforms, dashboards, and data • Experience introducing AI tools into a marketing team • Fluency in analytics, including sizing opportunities, designing tests, and defending metrics • Experience marketing to technical buyers, ideally platform engineers or infrastructure teams • Experience building or managing a small team • Ability to work autonomously and know when to ask for support • Experience in open source, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or AI infrastructure is a plus • Experience running growth for both sales-led and self-serve motions at the same company is a plus • Experience with intent data and account signal tools is a plus • Experience shipping an AI workflow, script, internal tool, or agent is a plus • Contributions to a technical community are a plus
