📋 Description

• Build and manage a portfolio of prospects to identify, cultivate, solicit, and secure major gifts of $50,000 or more • Apply prospect research, fundraising expertise, creativity, and intuition to identify and cultivate potential donors • Manage donor relationships through face-to-face and virtual visits and close major gift solicitations • Maintain the prospect management database with donor strategies, contacts, and results • Develop and execute regional engagement strategies covering donor identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship • Coordinate with college and unit development officers on relationship management and fundraising strategy • Participate in the Regional Development team’s fundraising efforts • Collaborate with colleges, schools, units, and central advancement offices • Provide market insights and recommendations to Advancement leadership • Support fundraising in a designated secondary market while balancing prospect activity and travel efficiency • Use trusted data, analytics, and approved AI-enabled tools in accordance with university policies and ethical standards • Perform related duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 5 years of experience related to development or other appropriate professional experience • Four years of direct experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree under the Degree Equivalency Clause • Must meet all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S. • Ability to build and manage a portfolio of major gift prospects • Prospect research and fundraising expertise • Experience managing donor relationships and major gift solicitations • Ability to use prospect management databases, trusted data, analytics, and approved AI-enabled tools • Ability to collaborate with college, unit, and central advancement offices • May be subject to a Level 1 or Level 2 criminal background check
