📋 Description

• Lead and perform electrical design for municipal infrastructure and facility projects, independently and as a technical leader within project teams • Develop design calculations, construction drawings, cost estimates, and bills of material • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated and constructible design packages • Participate in client meetings and technical discussions • Understand project needs, address challenges, and deliver effective engineering solutions • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers • Review and quality-check design drawings for technical accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with client standards • Support project execution by maintaining scope, schedule, and budget alignment throughout the design process • Work closely with municipal clients from concept through construction

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering design, drafting, or related technical roles • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred • Strong proficiency with Revit for electrical modeling and design development • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation • Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements • Working knowledge of NFPA 72, 101, and 110 • Working knowledge of International Building Code (IBC) • Knowledge of energy codes and lighting standards • Experience with lighting design tools such as DIALux or AGi32 • Strong attention to detail • Excellent documentation and organizational skills • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
