📋 Description

• Oversee the business aspects of veterinary hospital operations and uphold a sound medical environment • Support Hospital Managers and Medical Directors in meeting goals and fostering an excellent service culture and working environment • Perform a wide range of activities related to hospital operations • Collaborate closely with the Regional Medical Director and Regional Technician Director to support specialty hospitals • Maintain accountability and responsibility for hospital profit and loss statements • Oversee veterinary hospitals, including doctors, technicians, and other paraprofessional staff • Manage 25+ direct reports, including Hospital Managers and Medical Directors • Lead the transition and integration of acquired veterinary practices into the region • Support expansion and renovation of veterinary hospitals to drive service expansion • Cultivate relationships within the veterinary community • Support recruitment of medical professionals with Talent Acquisition to increase patient and client services

🎯 Requirements

• Prior leadership for a multi-site operational business • Veterinary site management experience preferred • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills • Proven experience building high performing teams • Ability to multi-task and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities • Experienced record of generating revenue growth • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Advanced degrees or credentials (MBA, CVPM, etc.) strongly preferred • 3+ years of progressive leadership • Success engaging with veterinary professionals • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time • Flexibility in schedule and hours of availability • Ability to travel daily throughout the region, with overnight/out-of-area travel required several times per year • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when required
