📋 Description

• Serve as Veeam’s principal federal technical voice at industry events, agency briefings, partner forums, analyst engagements, and policy roundtables • Build trusted relationships with agency CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, acquisition and policy leads, and mission owners • Translate FedRAMP program status and controls into clear customer and partner narratives • Gather federal requirements to inform authorization and product roadmap priorities • Build joint federal narratives, reference architectures, and enablement content with systems integrators, resellers, hyperscalers, and strategic alliances • Champion Securiti AI and the DataAI Command Platform for federal DSPM, data curation, and responsible AI adoption • Develop and deliver briefings, whitepapers, webinars, conference sessions, and executive-ready narratives • Connect federal market signals with Product Management, Product Strategy, and Engineering • Support high-priority federal opportunities and executive briefings • Partner with the VP of Federal Sales to align market-building activities with business outcomes, pipeline strategy, and authorization milestones

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in pre-sales systems engineering, solutions architecture, or technical evangelism with significant U.S. Federal, DoD, or Public Sector exposure • Experience engaging agency C-level technology leaders, policy leads, and acquisition stakeholders as a technical authority • Working knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and Zero Trust frameworks • Strong technical background in data resilience, data protection, backup/recovery architectures, virtualization, cloud, and security • Comfortable presenting at industry conferences, agency briefings, and partner/analyst events • Ability to create written and video content with a consistent point of view • Foundational understanding of AI, data governance, and data security posture management (DSPM) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • U.S. citizenship required • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance • Active TS or TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred • Self-directed and comfortable building a market presence without a fixed pipeline of active deals • Location: Washington, D.C. metro area strongly preferred; other major federal markets considered • Ability to travel up to 60–75%
