📋 Description
• Provide virtual consultations for pet owners in one or more eligible provinces in accordance with applicable telemedicine regulations • Collaborate with hospitals to support their patient needs • Provide care for exotic species if desired • Claim consultations based on availability and professional preference • Support access to veterinary care and alleviate workloads for brick-and-mortar hospitals • Deliver consultations based on client volume through services offered 24/7, 365 days a year
🎯 Requirements
• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) • Unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in one or more of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, or New Brunswick • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing veterinarian • Strong client communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and critical thinking abilities • Experience working with exotic species is considered an asset • Preference given to candidates licensed in multiple provinces, including Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Florida, or New York • Passion for improving access to veterinary care • Resume submission and completion of preliminary application questions
