📋 Description
• Provide virtual consultations for pet owners in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, and/or New Brunswick in accordance with applicable telemedicine regulations • Collaborate with hospitals to support their patient needs • Provide care for exotics if desired • Claim consultations based on availability and professional preference • Help expand access to veterinary care and alleviate the workload for brick-and-mortar hospitals
🎯 Requirements
• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) • Unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in one or more of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, and/or New Brunswick • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing veterinarian • Strong client communication skills • Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities • Experience working with exotic species is considered an asset • Preference given to candidates licensed in multiple provinces, including Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Florida, and New York • Passion for improving access to veterinary care
