• Support development and execution of long-term patient services strategy aligned with organizational and brand priorities • Manage analytics and operational components of patient hub services programs, including performance dashboards and HUB data interpretation • Meet with Viatris and external vendor stakeholders to communicate program issues and escalate situations appropriately, including possible site visits to vendors and customer sites • Assist in developing applicable SOWs/SOPs • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and other teams to develop and maintain patient support program communication materials and resources • Ensure approved program communications are utilized and assist with internal approval efforts • Act as a point of contact for specific sales forces, troubleshoot customer issues, explain program operations, and define measurable sales goals • Assess vendor service levels, staffing models, and capabilities for current and upcoming services and launches • Manage vendors and program offerings including copay, PAP, prior authorization, reimbursement, and related services • Assist or lead contracting, materials development and approval, and implementation for new programs • Understand competitive program requirements, model based on internal pricing and forecasts, and establish program rules and terms and conditions • Monitor program utilization, invoice tracking and approval, and other activities for copay programs • Create and distribute internal program performance updates • Work with Legal, Compliance, and other teams to track industry and regulatory factors, including state regulations, and revise program rules as appropriate • Lead or assist implementation of program rule changes • Provide program data internally and externally for monitoring purposes • Serve as internal subject matter expert, including training internal teams and new hires • Support additional programs and product launches from a product solutions and patient services perspective, including specialty, complex, and REMS-required products
• Bachelor's degree required (business /management, healthcare discipline or life sciences preferred) • Minimum of 4-7 years' experience working in/with managing and/or supporting patient support; combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration • Experience using data to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex issues and implementing strategies to effectively resolve problems • Experience launching new products within Women’s Health, pain, ophthalmology, cardiology, and/or SLE • Knowledge of pharmacy and/or medical benefit reimbursement, billing/coding, buy and bill, insurance plans including Medicaid and Medicare Part D, payer trends, and financial assistance programs (e.g. co-pay, PAP) • Ability to understand the patient and provider support experience • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents • Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence • Ability to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts • Ability to present to a group of departments • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates • Ability to analyze day-to-day operational reports and metrics, ensure HUB vendor adherence to expected service levels, identify and communicate program trends, and support continuous improvement after launch • Ability to solve problems with complex variables through non-standardized solutions requiring independent judgment and analysis • Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve complex problems • Normal office situation/remote
