📋 Description

• Own key product surfaces end to end for a platform serving over 1 million daily active creators • Build and modify backend APIs, services, and data flows • Identify opportunities from user feedback, data, and the codebase and drive the roadmap • Align proposals with product and design teams and deliver independently • Lead JavaScript-to-TypeScript refactoring of key frontend features • Build LLM-driven product features, including backend model integrations, prompts, streaming responses, error handling, and UX • Identify and resolve frontend and backend architecture and performance bottlenecks • Use Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot and help establish responsible AI practices • Test workflows, add monitoring and error reporting, and own shipped features in production • Review code and mentor other engineers

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience • Strong frontend expertise with backend comfort • Ability to design APIs, write server-side code, work with databases, and debug client-server issues • Self-driven and able to make decisions independently • Experience leading projects from concept to completion, documenting work, and teaching others • Strong product quality focus • Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical people • Confidence with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vite, and Tailwind • Daily, thoughtful use of AI coding assistants and agents • Ability to evaluate and verify AI-generated output • Backend experience with Node.js, Scala, and/or Python, relational databases, caching, and queues • Experience with Redux, Redux Saga, and/or Zustand • Experience building LLM-powered features • Experience with agentic coding workflows
