📋 Description

• Edit 20–30-minute podcast and video recordings • Remove ums, ahs, pauses, mistakes, and minor verbal or visual distractions • Follow detailed editing instructions and remove requested sections • Add existing intro, outro, music, and branded assets • Deliver polished videos in upload-ready formats • Prepare clear podcast show notes, guest information, key points, references, and timestamps • Identify useful moments from podcast episodes and create approximately 2–3 short-form videos per episode • Prepare clips for Reels, Shorts, and similar social media formats • Edit shorter YouTube commentary videos • Create professional YouTube thumbnails following branding preferences • Organize project files, use clear filenames, and deliver accessible final assets through Dropbox or similar platforms • Send completed content and supporting materials to Liz for publishing • Help reduce post-production bottlenecks and support a more consistent publishing schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with video editing • Experience editing podcast or interview-style content strongly preferred • Ability to perform clean, basic-to-intermediate video editing • Strong attention to detail • Excellent English proficiency • Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately • Ability to locate and edit specific sections of long-form content • Good file organization skills • Ability to meet agreed deadlines • Reliable and consistent follow-through • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Good communication skills • Experience repurposing long-form content into Reels, Shorts, or other short-form videos preferred • Experience creating YouTube thumbnails preferred • Experience preparing podcast show notes preferred • Basic graphic design skills preferred • Familiarity with cloud-based file-sharing platforms such as Dropbox preferred • Familiarity with AI-assisted video/content tools preferred • Portfolio with relevant editing samples
