📋 Description

• Own and evolve Wealthsimple's custom vulnerability management platform, including deployment, integrations, data model, and automation workflows • Build automation across triage, ticket routing, SLA tracking, ownership resolution, and follow-up • Expand the platform from one team's workflow to broader engineering processes • Integrate scanner data into the vulnerability management pipeline • Maintain enrichment workflows that turn raw findings into actionable tickets • Build queries, dashboards, and automated reports for vulnerability posture visibility • Stay current on the threat landscape, including AI's role in vulnerability research and exploitation • Help integrate the platform with the Cyber Reasoning System harness for sandbox validation and automated fixes

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on vulnerability management and/or security engineering experience, including scanner integration, triage workflows, and remediation tracking • Production AWS experience • Strong automation-first mindset and experience replacing manual processes • Deep familiarity with vulnerability management tooling such as Tenable, Semgrep, Rapid7, or comparable scanners • Ability to build scanner integrations via API • End-to-end familiarity with the software development lifecycle • Understanding of package and library vulnerabilities and vulnerability classes across application and infrastructure layers • Knowledge of scanner placement across CI, production, and network stages • Hands-on exposure to SAST/DAST/SCA tooling and OWASP fundamentals • Hands-on familiarity with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, AMIs, and container images such as ECR • Understanding of attack surface and exposure management • Ability to translate business and partner needs into solutions • Understanding of vulnerability management connections to CI/CD and deployment pipelines, threat intelligence, and bug bounty or responsible disclosure programs • Familiarity with compliance programs and vulnerability management controls • Active use of AI-assisted development workflows such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar • Legally eligible to work in Canada
