📋 Description

• Design and produce high-quality 3D character assets for mobile and console games, including humanoid, creature, and stylized characters. • Create production-ready character models from concept to final implementation, including sculpting, modeling, UV mapping, texturing, materials, and skinning. • Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Character Lead, Animators, and Technical Artists to develop visually compelling characters aligned with project artistic direction. • Optimize character assets for real-time performance while maintaining exceptional visual quality. • Support cinematic and marketing teams by creating high-quality character assets for trailers, renders, and promotional content. • Work cross-functionally with design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration into game engines. • Contribute to developing and improving character art workflows, tools, and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional gaming industry experience as a Character Artist. • A strong portfolio showcasing character modeling, digital sculpting, realistic and stylized texturing, topology, facial and body anatomy, and a full high-poly to low-poly pipeline. • Expert-level proficiency in character modeling, sculpting, retopology, UV unwrapping, baking, and texture creation. • Strong understanding of character anatomy, proportions, silhouette, and deformation for animation. • Mastery of 3D tools such as Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop, and related software. • Solid understanding of real-time workflow and game engine implementation. • Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative production environments. • Ability to take and apply feedback constructively and work within style and pipeline requirements. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience creating hair cards, grooming, cloth simulation, or creature development. • Familiarity with Unreal Engine and/or Unity, including look dev and integration. • Generalist abilities in props or environment art are a plus.
