• Oversee the clinical operations team’s ability to provide safe, high-quality care to patients • Participate in continuous quality improvement to improve care delivery and patient outcomes • Serve as a resource to caregivers on the team • Establish a supportive and responsive presence through role modeling and relationship building • Provide leadership and support to the site clinical operations team, including nurses and Medical Assistants • Maintain team schedules to ensure adequate coverage • Complete performance reviews • Coordinate educational and preceptor opportunities for nursing students • Participate in recruiting new nurses and Medical Assistants • Participate in recurring meetings with the Associate Director of Clinical Operations and other requested meetings • Participate in developing clinical policies, procedures, workflow, and staff development • Support education and implementation of workflow changes resulting from policy and process revisions • Evaluate care coordination outcomes by measuring intervention effectiveness • Oversee the daily huddle with the Nurse Supervisor and/or Lead/Clinical Floor Supervisor(s) • Oversee clinical care flow for the assigned care team, including identifying patient needs and care gaps • Lead quality improvement activities and initiatives • Provide ambulatory care support as a member of the care team, as needed • Advocate for patients by working with providers and auxiliary staff • Support other Nurse Managers by covering sites during staffing issues or providing managerial support • Complete Nurse Supervisor responsibilities when that position is not filled at a site • Maintain compliance with professional and organizational requirements • Perform other duties as assigned or requested
• Active RN licensure in the State of Delaware with no restrictions • Five years’ experience as a RN • Two years' supervisory experience • Current BLS certification • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or similar preferred • Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (RN-BC) preferred • Quality improvement experience preferred • Ability to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English fluently preferred
