The company provides M&A advisory and business brokerage, executive recruitment and talent acquisition, valuations, profit and margin optimization, and revenue growth and channel-relationship services. Its primary clients are public accounting firms (range $250K–$50M revenue) and wealth-management firms such as RIAs ($500M–$50B AUM) and multi-family offices seeking strategic acquisitions, cross-selling opportunities, and improved firm valuation.

📋 Description

• Lead client acquisition efforts, converting prospective clients into active engagements and managing onboarding from start to finish • Serve as the primary relationship owner for an established and growing book of individual and business clients, coordinating with their outside advisors as needed • Prepare and review high-complexity tax returns for individuals and businesses, including fiduciary returns where applicable • Drive proactive tax planning conversations focused on client tax savings and ongoing opportunities • Research complex tax issues and develop well-reasoned resolutions • Manage project workflow and prioritize across multiple engagements simultaneously • Supervise and develop a staff of 2–4 team members, including staffing assignments and day-to-day oversight • Apply strong data analytics and problem-solving skills to client situations with an organized, methodical approach

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of public accounting experience in individual and business taxation • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation a plus • CPA or EA preferred • Prior experience managing client engagements and leading staff • Fiduciary taxation experience is a plus • Proficiency with ProFx or Access Tax preferred; experience with Word, Excel, QuickBooks (online and desktop), Adobe Pro, CFS Payroll, and BNA strongly preferred • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively across a team
