📋 Description

• Maintain, modernize, and innovate core engineering applications supporting the music publishing business lifecycle • Support rights management, contract administration, royalty processing, and global licensing management systems • Reimagine and implement future technology for the music industry • Create and deliver innovative products • Implement maintainable, high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions • Identify opportunities to improve system quality, scale, and efficiency • Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to clarify technical requirements • Provide support for system integrations and data engineering • Own team deliverables, processes, and execution • Respond to incidents and perform on-call duties, focusing on root-cause fixes and improvements • Mentor other engineers • Participate in continuous improvement and learning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field • Hands-on senior engineer who writes code, conducts code reviews, and participates in setting engineering best practices • Effective communicator who collaborates well cross-functionally • 6+ years of experience working in Java or another object-oriented language, with strong full-stack experience • Strong experience with relational databases and data model design • Experience building projects with good abstractions and clean architecture • Strong debugging skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues • Drive to grow, learn, and master software development • Experience writing design docs and serving as design reviewer for peers' design docs • Experience with AWS is preferred • Familiarity with large-scale data processing systems and event-driven architectures is a bonus • High sense of ownership and drive to deliver impact in a fast-paced, evolving, ambiguous environment
