📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core and Python • Develop scalable backend services, REST APIs, web services, and microservices • Build and support Azure-based microservices and cloud-native applications • Design and integrate RESTful APIs between applications and enterprise platforms • Work with SQL Server and Azure SQL for data access, database development, queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization • Participate in application architecture, technical design, code reviews, and development standards • Develop unit and automated tests • Use Azure DevOps for source-code management, work tracking, automated testing, CI builds, and deployment/release pipelines • Use Git for version control, branching, merging, and collaborative development • Troubleshoot application, API, database, integration, and production issues • Collaborate with architects, product teams, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams • Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives • Produce clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience with .NET / .NET Core • 4+ years of Python application development experience • 4+ years of experience with Azure-based microservices • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or Azure SQL • 5+ years of experience using Azure DevOps, including repositories, work-item tracking, automated testing, CI builds, and release/deployment pipelines • Strong experience with Git • Strong REST API and web-service development experience • Experience developing distributed or microservices-based applications • Understanding of object-oriented design, software engineering principles, and design patterns • Experience debugging and supporting production applications • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Python experience must be on the application/web/backend side; this is not a data engineering or data science position
