• Lead the learning and enablement strategy for the commercial function • Build the foundational commercial learning framework, including competency models, role profiles, learning paths, content standards, and governance processes • Author learning content when dedicated design support is unavailable • Design and deliver onboarding and ramp-up learning journeys for new commercial hires • Build role-based curricula and performance support for selling skills, therapeutic knowledge, RFI/RFP development, bid defense, pricing, budgeting, and client communication • Facilitate training sessions and workshops • Build relationships with commercial leaders, subject matter experts, and organizational stakeholders • Coordinate change-management communications and technology onboarding for commercial systems, processes, and go-to-market initiatives • Develop tutorials, workshops, and e-learning modules • Conduct needs analysis and develop targeted learning solutions • Measure learning impact and ROI against ramp time, win rate, and proposal quality • Gather feedback and improve learning strategies • Collaborate with instructional design and LMS teams to create, launch, communicate, brand, and measure training effectiveness • Perform other duties as assigned
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources Management, Education, Life Sciences, or related discipline • 5+ years’ experience in learning and development, sales enablement, or commercial training • Proven ability to design and implement training programs aligned with adult learning principles • Strong business acumen and understanding of the CRO commercial model, drug development lifecycle, and client partner-selection processes • Strong analytical skills to measure training effectiveness, adoption, compliance, and commercial performance • Ability to influence and build credibility with senior commercial stakeholders in a matrixed, global environment • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including domestic and international travel • Experience consulting with commercial client groups to identify and address learning and development needs • Experience building a learning program or function from the ground up • Working knowledge of lead generation, RFI and RFP response, bid defense, contract award, and client relationship management • Strong background in instructional design and LMS management • Experience supporting CRM platforms, proposal and pricing systems, and content repositories is preferred • Excellent customer service skills • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
