📋 Description

• Offer timely, quality, best-in-class services to clients and customers • Respond to client requests using a quick, flexible, operational approach aligned with strategy and Xpera policies and procedures • Conduct thorough covert surveillance investigations by vehicle and/or on foot • Coordinate investigations with client intent and seek management guidance as required • Perform pre-operation planning, assignment assessment, evidence collection, and reporting • Monitor assignment timelines and budgets to complete work on time and within budget • Produce accurate, detailed notes and reports according to Xpera protocols • Obtain professional-quality video and photographic documentation of subjects • Obtain information or intelligence legally, ethically, and confidentially • Attend court or legal proceedings as required • Maintain vehicles and equipment in good working condition

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant work experience • Preference for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of field surveillance investigative experience • Experience working in a client-focused environment • Experience in law enforcement is an asset • Valid Private Investigator License within the applicable province of employment • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record • Knowledge of all levels of the Canadian court system, criminal and civil code in Canada, insurance law, and privacy legislation is an asset • Understanding of threat risk assessments and analytics • Exceptional communication and written skills • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel • Ability to work under pressure to meet demanding timelines while maintaining focus • Professional demeanor characterized by integrity, good character, and mutual respect • Patience, persistence, enthusiasm, and ability to learn quickly
