📋 Description

• Support the overall management of internal MGA insurance programs • Analyze underwriting appetite and identify opportunities to improve instant price and written premium • Make pricing recommendations through profitability analyses, market trends, and pricing optimization performance • Recommend improvements to online question sets using drop-off analyses and simplified phrasing and underwriting approaches • Update policy document automation based on underwriting changes and expansions • Collaborate with Insurance Analytics Managers and Underwriting Specialists to implement changes on the website, guidelines, and training tools • Communicate changes to operational underwriting and sales teams • Use Looker, Salesforce, Amplitude, and Excel to build reports and identify insights • Support Insurance Analytics Managers with data analyses for team projects • Analyze and improve online questionnaires, implement website changes using Flow Writer or developer tickets, and track impact after launch • Report to the Business Lead, Insurance, Strategy & Operations

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in an analytical field of study (e.g. Business, Mathematics) • Experience in the insurance industry (course, internship, work experience, etc.) • Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail • Ability to synthesize insights and develop improvement opportunities • Superior skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite or Google Docs Suite • Robust collaboration skills and ability to build effective working relationships • Ownership mindset and self-drive • Ability to change priorities and work in an agile, project-based environment • Effective communication with external insurance carriers and internal senior leaders and stakeholders • Knowledge of analytics-based software such as Looker, Amplitude, and Salesforce is a plus • Proficient knowledge of product management software such as Confluence and Jira is a plus
