📋 Description

• Define the long-term technical roadmap, architecture, and strategy for the Enterprise Data Platform using Snowflake, dbt, Matillion DPC, and Streamlit • Evolve the platform toward modern medallion and mesh architectures while supporting critical organization-wide business initiatives • Empower Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other decentralized business functions through self-service data platforms • Establish Raw, Transform, and Analytics layers and standard data contracts for federated BI teams • Embed AI into enterprise analytics, data pipelines, custom data applications, and RAG/Graph RAG architectures • Implement platform governance, data observability, and transparent cost attribution • Build and embed AIOps systems for token cost optimization, automated metadata cataloging, and pipeline-alert triage • Lead the central data team and support federated business intelligence units in becoming AI-ready • Participate hands-on in coding, prototyping advanced workflows, and troubleshooting critical pipelines • Research and evaluate modern data technologies and market trends • Report to the Senior Director, Enterprise Data Platform in the IT Data Strategy department

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience driving technical strategies to transition traditional data structures and business intelligence teams into AI-ready units • 5+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and growing high-performing data engineering, platform engineering, or analytics engineering teams • Deep architectural and operational knowledge of Snowflake and dbt, including analytics engineering, modeling standards, and testing • Hands-on knowledge of designing ETL data pipelines and building/serving RAG architectures, including Graph RAG, on cloud data platforms • Practical experience implementing or operating within a self-service data platform environment and Data Mesh architectural framework • Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native ETL/ELT tools, preferably Matillion Data Productivity Cloud or similar • Strong software engineering skills in Python and SQL, including CI/CD, Git, and automated testing • Ability to write complex code/models and lead highly technical data projects (preferred) • Experience with Snowflake Cortex, Snowpark, and Streamlit (preferred)
