• Responsible for multiple large construction accounts within the region • Adapting Zurich's Innovative Solutions to the Construction Industry with the objective of minimizing impacts to customer losses, and overall improvement of Sustainability & Business Resiliency at the Corporate Level • Leveraging Zurich’s risk engineering tools and services to improve customer risk and general account management of customers who purchase Zurich Construction Insurance products • Delivering high quality construction consultative services for customers • Identifying exposures and program risk control gaps to form the basis of risk mitigation recommendations • Investigation of cause/effect of major losses for hazard/safety management programs • Developing and maintaining positive customer and business partner relationships • Marketing and selling a wide range of fee services to customers • Producing advanced level presentations and delivering risk management training for customers and internal business partners • Providing appropriate risk improvement advice, conduct loss investigations, and implement risk improvement programs • Assisting customers with developing corporate and project specific QA/QC plans, safety plans, and investigating construction defects when applicable • Participating in Sales Team meetings and presentations to brokers and customers while contributing to fee income sales through opportunity spotting and cross-selling
• Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Construction Risk Engineering, Safety/ Risk Management, or Construction Field Operations OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Construction Risk Engineering, Safety/ Risk Management, or Construction Field Operations OR Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Construction Risk Engineering, Safety/ Risk Management, or Construction Field Operations • Degree in Engineering, Health and Safety, Risk Management, or Construction Management or related degree (preferred) • Construction Corporate Safety, Project Management, and/or Superintendent experience- mid to senior level position (preferred) • Advanced level knowledge of construction safety, operations, quality management and associated construction risks and exposures (preferred) • Professional certifications: CSP, ARM, CHST (preferred) • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and IOS platforms (preferred) • Proficiency in technical writing to create customer and internal business partner work products (preferred) • Experienced working in both independent and team environments (preferred) • Excellent interpersonal, communication and consulting skills with the ability to communicate and consult at both the corporate and project site levels effectively and professionally (preferred) • Leadership and involvement in extracurricular activities, organizations and/or community, public service, or similar activities (preferred)
