📋 Description

• Own the technical side of the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, demos, POCs/POVs, and technical objection handling • Run the technical side of expansion by identifying new use cases in existing accounts and turning them into evaluations • Build working demos and prototypes on Exa's API for agents, research, search, and enrichment use cases • Translate Exa's capabilities into use-case narratives for CTOs, engineers, and PMs • Serve as a trusted technical advisor on Exa's product, API, and use cases • Run rigorous evaluations, answer technical questions, and involve engineering when needed • Identify customer-evaluation patterns and channel feedback to product and engineering • Build reusable demos, integration patterns, and regional playbooks • Represent Exa at technical workshops, meetups, and conferences • Support early customers through onboarding and initial implementation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (flexible for exceptional candidates) • Experience in solutions/sales engineering, solutions architecture, or engineering with heavy customer exposure • Technical depth with APIs and modern development, such as Python or TypeScript • Ability to design integrations, build working demos, and debug live • Strong communication and presentation skills • Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage intensity • Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, agents, and customer evaluation processes • Ability to scope POCs with clear success criteria • Based in India with willingness to travel for customer engagements • Additional regional languages are a plus across APJ markets
