📋 Description

• Support ABB’s worldwide buy- and sell-side financial due diligence activities • Identify risks in potential M&A transactions • Prepare, advise, and execute solutions to achieve the most beneficial position for ABB • Serve as a financial expert for ABB’s businesses regarding global M&A activity • Perform initial target assessments, including high-level financial analysis and preparation of adjusted historic financials • Prepare, execute, and support buy- and sell-side financial due diligence • Review closing accounts as part of purchase price finalization • Assist with ABB US GAAP acquisition and divestment accounting and reporting, including external reporting requirements and necessary controls • Support preparation of pro forma financials showing acquisition impacts on ABB’s financial statements • Perform acquisition and divestment controls within ABB’s internal control framework • Support development of accounting-related policies, directives, and controls for business combinations and divestments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Accounting • 2-4 years of experience in Financial Due Diligence acquired at a reputable accounting firm (or equivalent), preferably one that operates globally • Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS • Very good communication, project management, and analytical skills • Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment • Ease communicating in English, both written and spoken • Willingness to work flexible hours • Global travel ability
