📋 Description

• Install, operate, maintain, inspect, test, and troubleshoot AV equipment throughout Hawar Resort by Mantis • Set up, test, operate, and dismantle AV equipment for meetings, weddings, conferences, banquets, entertainment, and special events • Respond to AV faults and technical issues and perform repairs or corrective actions • Provide technical support for VIP guests, meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events • Maintain records of equipment, maintenance, repairs, and technical issues • Report major faults and service requirements to the Engineering Supervisor • Store, maintain, and monitor AV equipment, accessories, and spare parts • Maintain accurate inventories and arrange timely replacement of required items • Coordinate AV requirements with Events, Banquets, Entertainment, IT, Engineering, and external suppliers • Conduct planned preventive maintenance and regular equipment checks • Follow resort safety, fire, electrical, and operational procedures • Attend departmental briefings and technical training • Provide technical assistance during major events, emergencies, and special functions • Remain available for shifts, weekends, public holidays, and events as required • Maintain professional conduct, appearance, service standards, and complete other duties assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant AV experience, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, hospitality, or high-end events environment • Diploma, certificate, or relevant technical qualification in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred • Good knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, projection, LED displays, presentation systems, and related AV equipment • Proven experience setting up and operating AV systems for conferences, weddings, banquets, meetings, entertainment, and special events • Good understanding of AV troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, basic repairs, equipment handling, and fault diagnosis • Knowledge of electrical safety, AV installations, cabling, connections, and safe equipment handling procedures • Familiarity with video conferencing systems, LED screens, projectors, sound systems, mixers, amplifiers, microphones, digital displays, and AV control systems • Strong attention to detail with analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to technical issues during live events and guest activities • Good written and spoken English • Willingness to work shifts, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and special events • Good organizational skills for equipment inventories, maintenance records, and technical documentation • Ability to work independently while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Events, IT, and other departments • Relevant AV, electrical, electronics, or safety certifications are an advantage • Strong commitment to guest satisfaction, service excellence, safety, professionalism, and Hawar Resort by Mantis standards
