• Design and implement a comprehensive resource mobilisation strategy aligned with the organisation’s mission and vision • Identify, research, and build a pipeline of potential individual, institutional, and corporate donors, both in India and internationally • Prepare compelling proposals, donor reports, concept notes, and pitch presentations tailored to the interests of different donor segments • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective donors through timely communication, donor engagement events, and regular updates • Track fundraising metrics, donor communications, and deadlines using donor management tools or CRMs • Work with internal teams to develop strategic cases for support, impact stories, and marketing content to strengthen donor engagement • Coordinate high-level donor meetings, site visits, and follow-ups, and support senior leadership in donor interactions • Lead or supervise donor reporting (narrative and financial) and ensure compliance with donor agreements and expectations • Monitor fundraising trends and best practices to ensure strategy relevance and effectiveness • Develop annual and quarterly outreach plans for both core team members and ad-hoc staff/volunteers to maximise reach and visibility of the organisation’s work • Coordinate and deploy the team and ad-hoc staff for on-ground awareness and fundraising activities, including in-person campaigns, events, and field visits • Identify, plan, and lead church speaking opportunities and community events across regions as part of outreach and fundraising efforts, ensuring effective messaging and follow-up engagement • Provide periodic updates to the Team Leader • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fundraising activities • Maintain confidentiality of donor information and fundraising plans
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in fundraising, donor relations, partnership development, or resource mobilization, preferably within the non-profit, human rights, or development sectors • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to craft compelling donor communication, detailed reports, concept notes, and effective fundraising campaigns • Prior experience with organizations focused on human rights, religious freedom, or marginalized communities preferred • Understanding of philanthropic and donor trends, particularly within India and among international donors preferred • Fluency in Hindi or other Indian regional languages in addition to English preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and donor/fundraising management platforms preferred • Familiarity or exposure to legal frameworks relevant to the nonprofit sector, including FCRA, CSR, or other regulatory compliance areas preferred
