📋 Description

• Design and implement a research study for Play for the Lead • Explore how youth participation approaches are associated with participation and retention in sport and physical activity among girls and young women from migrant, refugee, first- and second-generation, asylum-seeking, and ethnically marginalised communities • Develop the research design and assessment framework • Lead or coordinate relevant data collection and analysis • Generate practical learning and recommendations for the adidas Foundation, partner organisations, and the wider Sport for Development sector • Meaningfully involve young women in the research • Apply participatory and ethical research practices • Make strategic use of existing project-generated data

🎯 Requirements

• Individual researcher, research team, university, or research institution • Ability to design and implement a research study • Ability to develop a research design and assessment framework • Ability to lead or coordinate relevant data collection and analysis • Ability to generate practical learning and recommendations • Meaningfully involve young women in the research • Apply participatory and ethical research practices • Strategically use existing project-generated data where possible • Proposal must include understanding of the assignment, proposed methodology, research team composition, relevant experience, indicative timeline, detailed budget, CV(s), and examples of similar research • All materials must be submitted in English • Proposal maximum length: 8 pages
