📋 Description

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team • Lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems • Support team members throughout delivery • Collaborate with product management, design and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle • Participate in ideation and articulate technical constraints • Partner on decisions considering risks and trade-offs • Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology and business issues • Create and monitor metrics supporting operations and artifact availability • Escalate issues and support keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts • Set or improve code review and design standards • Advocate for engineering standards through writing and tech talks • Develop team talent through feedback, guidance and leading by example

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably using declarative UI frameworks like React Native • Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue • Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems • Proficiency in Python or Kotlin • Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components • High-quality, understandable and reusable code • Proficiency making significant changes in a large code base • Experience with tools and practices enabling safe codebase changes • Proactive ownership of professional growth and feedback-seeking • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Required participation in an on-call rotation • Must be based in Spain; visa sponsorship is available
