📋 Description

• Work cross-functionally within the Digital Services for Medical Practice team, focusing on the iClinic ecosystem • Evolve product architecture and support technical decisions from discovery through go-live • Ensure solutions deliver scalability, security, resilience, performance, and efficiency • Contribute to the integration and evolution of Afya’s technology ecosystem • Define and evolve software architecture incorporating Security by Design • Guide decisions by evaluating trade-offs among security, scalability, performance, resilience, cost, and delivery speed • Support the definition of technology stacks, frameworks, tools, and technical standards • Partner with Engineering, Product, Data, Security, and Infrastructure teams • Define and promote standards for architecture, secure development, technical documentation, version control, deployment, and secrets management • Conduct technical and architectural reviews, impact analyses, and mentoring • Identify and reduce technical debt, vulnerabilities, and architectural risks • Support DevSecOps practices in CI/CD pipelines, including automated security controls and analyses • Guide decisions regarding cloud, observability, resilience, cost efficiency, and security in AWS environments • Support system modernization, integration, and evolution projects, considering APIs, messaging, service-oriented architecture, and interoperability • Work with Information Security and Infrastructure teams to strengthen application protection and environment compliance • Serve as a technical reference and promote engineering best practices and architectural maturity

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience working as a Software Architect on medium- or large-scale digital products • Solid, hands-on experience with AWS — mandatory requirement • Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and infrastructure environments • Knowledge of software architecture and patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) • Experience applying security to software architecture, including Security by Design principles • Knowledge of IAM, OAuth/OIDC, SSO, secrets management, and cryptography fundamentals • Experience with APIs, integrations, messaging, and distributed systems • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and security practices throughout the development lifecycle • Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation • Ability to analyze scenarios, make architectural decisions, and clearly document technical trade-offs and decisions • Clear communication skills and the ability to technically influence diverse stakeholders • Autonomous, collaborative, proactive profile with the ability to serve as a technical reference • Nice to have: experience in the HealthTech sector; experience with products focused on healthcare or medical practice; experience protecting sensitive data, especially health-related data; knowledge of Brazil’s LGPD, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or other security and compliance frameworks; experience with AI and Artificial Intelligence applications; knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS Security Reference Architecture (SRA)
