📋 Description

• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, clarify expected behavior, and define test coverage • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, checklists, and test data • Execute functional, exploratory, smoke, regression, integration, and API testing • Validate user workflows, edge cases, error handling, and compatibility across browsers and devices • Document defects with reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and supporting evidence • Investigate issues using available tools, logs, and network information to help developers identify causes • Collaborate with developers, project leads, and stakeholders to clarify issues, verify fixes, and assess release readiness • Prioritize testing based on business impact, product risk, and delivery timelines • Communicate testing progress, blockers, coverage gaps, and unresolved risks • Manage QA responsibilities across multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting agreed deadlines • Recommend improvements to testing processes, documentation, and product usability

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years of professional QA experience, with a strong focus on manual and functional testing • Advanced or fluent English (C1 or higher) • Must be based in Panama and eligible for full-time employment in Panama • Demonstrated experience testing web applications, including complex workflows and business rules • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle • Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools, including validating responses, status codes, authentication, and error handling • Ability to use browser developer tools to inspect network requests, console errors, and application behavior • Experience using issue-tracking and test-management tools such as Jira, Linear, TestRail, TestLink, or equivalent platforms • Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating throughout the development process • A track record of independently managing testing activities and following issues through to resolution • Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing tools such as BrowserStack • Basic programming or scripting knowledge • Ability to organize and complete work with minimal day-to-day supervision • Ability to raise questions, blockers, and quality risks early, with clear context and practical recommendations • Ability to balance competing priorities, provide realistic estimates, and communicate changes that may affect delivery
