📋 Description

• Help Airbnb leverage AI to redefine and accelerate Quality Engineering • Build and maintain automation coverage for features and releases • Work directly with product engineering teams to develop and maintain test tools • Write and test product code • Participate in design reviews to architect testable systems • Guide designs and code to enhance modularity and testability • Build, maintain, and utilize automated tests • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure robust test coverage • Improve existing automation frameworks for new functionalities and quality efficiency • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with the CI/CD team • Troubleshoot, isolate issues, verify bug fixes, and debug issues during testing and after release • Collaborate with product management, development, and other Quality Engineering teams • Learn and apply AI-assisted tooling and LLMs to accelerate test creation and maintenance

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in software development or test automation; recent graduates with relevant internship or project experience are welcome • Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, Swift, or Java • Exposure to writing automated tests or working with a testing framework, such as Playwright, Cypress, Espresso, or XCUITest, through work, internships, or personal projects • Understanding of basic testing concepts and eagerness to learn the testing pyramid, CI/CD, and quality best practices • Curiosity about applying AI/LLMs to testing and developer productivity • Comfortable collaborating in English • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent
