âą Architecting and evolving MySQL topologies âą Performing research, test and assist with deployment of database performance and reliability improvements âą Leading query tuning and index strategy âą Implementing observability and automation for our database environment âą Driving root-cause analysis for database incidents: document and implement corrective and preventive actions
đŻ Requirements
âą 5 or more years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field âą Expertise in MySQL 8 internals, including schema/index design, optimizer behavior InnoDB and replication âą Knowledge of Linux (performance, file systems, I/O, process/threading, networking) âą Some amount of exposure to shell and/or Python for tooling and automation âą Understanding of computer networking (TCP, TLS, Load Balancing, DNS, routing/NAT, firewalls) and how it impacts databases
