📋 Description

• Contribute hands-on development to automated dependency management tooling • Work across languages and package ecosystems to support dependency updates • Collaborate through pull requests, code review, and CI workflows • Take ownership of development tasks and ramp up quickly • Help develop a tool that monitors outdated or vulnerable packages and creates pull requests to update them across multiple package ecosystems

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on coding ability and readiness to contribute from day one • Ruby proficiency • Ability to work with Go and Python • Confident everyday use of AI coding tools, including GitHub Copilot and agentic workflows • Git/GitHub workflows, including pull requests, code review, and CI with GitHub Actions • Independent delivery and ownership of substantial work • Good English for meetings, pull requests, and issues • Knowledge of package managers and ecosystems, including Bundler, npm/yarn, pip/Poetry, Go modules, Maven/Gradle, NuGet, and Cargo is nice to have • Experience with dependency management, semantic versioning, and supply-chain security, including CVE/advisories is nice to have • Docker experience is nice to have • Open-source contributions, especially to relevant developer-platform or dependency-management repositories, are nice to have
