📋 Description

• Operate and evolve Alan’s multi-cloud infrastructure foundations • Own and evolve the Infrastructure-as-Code stack using Terraform and Terramate • Make architectural decisions supporting international expansion • Operate PostgreSQL/Aurora, event pipelines, asynchronous workloads, and database migration tooling • Own platform uptime and latency SLOs end-to-end • Evolve observability using Datadog and incident response using Incident.io • Participate in a sustainable shared on-call rotation • Enable governance, compliance, FinOps, IAM, backup and disaster recovery, and exit strategy through automation and reporting • Use AI assistants for incident investigation, runbook execution, troubleshooting, and toil reduction • Revisit cloud strategy and launch new geographies • Evolve service architecture to scale from 1M to 10M members • Overhaul observability, on-call, and cost management practices • Write, ship, and operate production code, including rollouts, alerting, on-call, and incident response • Build reusable guardrails, libraries, and reliable-by-default abstractions for product crews

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or equivalent roles • Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS or GCP • Comfortable writing automation and tooling code, including APIs, internal command lines, or developer portals • Willingness to work in Python and TypeScript; prior experience with both is not required • Experience with observability, monitoring, alerting, or incident management tools and practices • Ability to design and implement robust infrastructure systems focused on reliability and observability • Ability to maintain uptime targets while optimizing infrastructure costs • Experience building and maintaining tooling for other engineers, including APIs, web interfaces, internal command lines, or configuration as code • Hands-on approach to writing, deploying, and operating production code • Fluent in English; French is not required • Must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain • Must be currently based in, or willing to relocate to, France, Spain, or Belgium
