📋 Description

• Centralise and optimise the Group Company Car Fleet of more than 4,000 vehicles • Take over and execute the existing centralisation programme • Refine and implement the target operating model, governance model and migration plan for each country/entity • Manage the transformation as a cross-functional project • Design and harmonise a group-wide company car policy framework in alignment with HR/total rewards, tax and works-council requirements • Establish total-cost-of-ownership transparency and identify savings through standardisation, pooling, contract renegotiation and demand management • Coordinate RFPs and tenders for leasing, fleet management, insurance/claims, fuel and charging card providers • Consolidate the provider landscape and manage external providers • Negotiate group framework agreements with Group Procurement, owning fleet requirements and specifications • Propose vehicle options and powertrain mixes by user group based on TCO, operational requirements and regulatory outlook • Manage charging solutions and reimbursement models for electric vehicles • Own fleet CO₂ reporting and provide fleet data for CSRD/ESG reporting • Select and implement a group fleet management system • Define master data standards and interfaces with HR, accounting and providers • Build standardised KPI reporting • Ensure group-wide compliance with holder and duty-of-care obligations under applicable local law • Ensure adequate insurance coverage and internal controls • Act as the single point of contact for Group-level fleet topics • Align with country management, Group Procurement, Finance/Controlling and employee representatives • Manage escalations and communicate changes to approximately 4,000 drivers • Develop concepts for extending the function toward broader mobility benefits

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or a comparable field • Certified fleet manager qualification is an advantage • 5+ years of experience in fleet management, mobility services, automotive leasing or category management for vehicle fleets • Proven track record in tendering and negotiating leasing/fleet service contracts • Experience managing external providers via SLAs and KPIs • Experience with centralisation, outsourcing or transformation projects in an international, multi-entity environment • Ability to operate effectively without formal line authority over country organisations • Strong analytical and commercial skill set • Experience with TCO modelling and business cases • Confident use of Excel/BI tools • Experience with fleet management software and telematics data is a plus • Working knowledge of the regulatory and tax context of company cars, including benefit-in-kind taxation, holder liability and insurance, in at least one core ALDI SÜD market • Interest in broader corporate mobility offerings, including mobility budgets, bike leasing and shared mobility • Hands-on, structured and resilient approach • Comfortable driving change against established local practices • Diplomacy to keep stakeholders on board • Business-fluent in English • Additional language of an ALDI SÜD country is a plus • Resume must be uploaded in English
