📋 Description

• Design and extend AI agents, skills, and automation that take on engineering work • Expand AI tooling ownership from planning and implementation through code review and CI • Stay current on AI tooling and techniques and introduce productivity improvements • Collaborate with engineers across teams to shape and adopt AI-assisted workflows • Design and build AI agents and skills for test generation, code review assistance, and CI feedback • Improve and modularize local development environments • Reduce friction in local development, testing, and CI workflows • Build internal tools that remove friction from everyday development • Drive adoption through collaboration and usefulness rather than mandates • Help engineering teams adopt new ways of working that increase productivity

🎯 Requirements

• Daily hands-on experience using modern AI coding tools (e.g. Claude, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) • Experience extending AI tooling, including custom agents, skills, prompts, and MCP servers • Strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on coding experience (6-8 years) • Experience building systems or tools other engineers rely on • Strong backend engineering experience and comfort contributing across the stack • Experience with Docker, local development environments, and CI systems • Familiarity with automated testing and test performance issues • Strong proficiency in at least one backend-oriented language (Python preferred; JavaScript/TypeScript also considered) • AWS and Postgres experience required • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment • Outstanding communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally • English proficiency (written and oral) is required • Must reside in Mexico • Must have the legal right to work in Mexico with sponsorship now and in the future • AlertMedia does not sponsor
