📋 Description

• Verify whether vehicle variants in customer order projects comply with applicable product safety regulations, norms, and standards • Prepare evidence/documentation demonstrating compliance with product safety obligations • Analyze and assess safety-relevant requirements and activities starting from the proposal phase • Identify applicable laws, standards, regulations, and guidelines • Advise projects and define safety objectives • Create safety case and safety evidence documentation for projects • Coordinate safety-related verification and validation (V&V) activities • Conduct system safety-related reviews, audits, and assessments both internally and externally • Monitor implementation and compliance of safety-related requirements • Further develop internal safety-related processes, templates, and checklists • Perform final assessment of compliance with product safety obligations and report to the product safety officer

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in engineering (TU/FH) or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Automotive Engineering • Solid professional experience in System Safety, preferably in the automotive sector • Strong knowledge of safety standards, e.g., IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 • Methodological expertise in hazard and risk analyses, FMEA, and FTA • Strong understanding of requirements management • Experience with IBM DOORS and APIS Pro • Good understanding of product development processes • Systematic knowledge of project planning and project management
