📋 Description

• Mechanical design for battery cell integration, enclosures, and electro-mechanical assemblies • Create 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T, and BOMs for tooling release • Perform tolerance stack-ups, DFMEA, and design robustness activities • Update designs for automated assembly, DFM/DFA, and manufacturing transfer • Support prototyping, on-site builds, suppliers, and international manufacturing partners • Collaborate with suppliers, validation, manufacturing, and purchasing teams • Lead technical decision-making and solve complex mechanical challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Required engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, or Aerospace engineering • 6+ years of product design experience • Experience with batteries, energy storage, EV, or PCBA packaging • Strong CAD skills in Onshape, NX, and SolidWorks • PFMEA, PPAP, and DFM experience • Advanced English at B2–C1 level • Valid travel visa required • Thermal management knowledge preferred as a nice-to-have • Prototyping and FEA exposure preferred as a nice-to-have • PLM experience with Teamcenter, Windchill, or Agile preferred as a nice-to-have • Excellent communication and stakeholder management • Leadership in technical decision-making • Ability to collaborate across suppliers, validation, manufacturing, and purchasing • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
