📋 Description

• Support day-to-day treasury operations and statutory compliance activities across all ALU jurisdictions • Initiate and execute domestic and international vendor, payroll, and statutory payments • Monitor daily cash balances across ALU entities and bank accounts • Prepare and execute bi-monthly payment runs on the 15th and at month-end • Review payment documentation, track payment status, and maintain a payment tracker • Execute intercompany transfers and funding between ALU entities • Track cash inflows and outflows and update short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts • Consolidate and report actual versus forecast cash flows, including variance analysis • Flag liquidity risks, funding gaps, delays, anomalies, and unusual banking costs • Support bank-account setup and maintenance, signatory updates, and online-banking access controls • Liaise with banking partners to resolve payment and operational issues • Support urgent or off-cycle payments • Coordinate WHT, VAT filings, and other regulatory submissions • Maintain a compliance calendar and coordinate compliance data with Finance and Accounts Payable • Engage with tax authorities and external advisors and coordinate tax regulators • Coordinate with banking partners, tax authorities, auditors, and financial service providers • Support internal and external audits with documentation, schedules, and query responses • Perform weekly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Maintain documentation and audit trails for treasury transactions • Assist in building scalable treasury processes, controls, systems, procedures, SOPs, and workflows • Identify payment and banking-process inefficiencies and support improvements • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, FP&A, People & Culture, and Operations • Support payroll, vendor, and statutory payments • Assist with treasury analysis and ad hoc finance projects • Report directly to the Accountant and ultimately to the Finance Operations Director

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2–4 years of experience in treasury, accounting, fund accounting or finance operations • Exposure to payment processing, bank reconciliations, or cash management • Working knowledge of tax compliance (WHT, VAT) is an advantage • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite or similar ERP systems) • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to process transactions with accuracy and consistency • Integrity and accountability in a cash-sensitive environment • Ability to follow and enforce structured workflows • Strong organizational skills • Responsiveness in time-sensitive treasury processes • Ability to identify discrepancies and flag risks early • Ability to work effectively across teams and functions • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
