📋 Description

• Prepare monthly financial statements using existing templates or by developing new ones • Build and maintain weekly and/or monthly cash flow projections • Support budget preparation and financial planning • Organize financial information for review and sharing with the tax accountant • Refine and customize reporting templates • Work from existing accounting system data and the chart of accounts • Build processes, reports, and projections from the ground up where historical information is limited

🎯 Requirements

• Strong accounting fundamentals • Advanced Excel skills • Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts • Solid understanding of cash vs. accrual accounting • Ability to work with templates, interpret financial data, and produce clear, accurate reports • Ability to understand revenue sources and timing, categorize expenses, and organize them into useful reports • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a related field (preferred) • Prior experience supporting startups (preferred)
