📋 Description

• Support, design, develop, enhance, and implement computer application systems and programs • Evaluate existing computer system performance and direct upgrades and improvements • Troubleshoot problems, test systems, and resolve issues • Recommend enhancements to IT systems and services • Support, administer, configure, and install software and hardware products and systems • Implement new products or upgrades in network operating system environments, assessing feasibility, cost/benefit, and client impact • Liaise with clients, including senior management and executives, partners, and external vendors to resolve issues and recommend next steps • Develop, evaluate, and test new technologies • Provide 24/7 first-tier management and support • Provide access to IT network services • Ensure changes to IT infrastructure • Manage configuration

🎯 Requirements

• Mexico’s SAT registration and a Mexican RFC tax ID • Fluent English (required) • Undergraduate degree or Technologist diploma or Professional technologist equivalency designation in Computer Science, Network Security, Telecommunications, or Engineering • Technology diploma or Professional technologist equivalency designation and 8+ years of relevant experience • Experience in multiple areas of expertise, including collaboration tools, desktop support, network operations, access management, change/release management, configuration management, network/communications, server/storage, client liaison, problem management, quality assurance, enterprise management tools, and IT security • Strong knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP, subnetting, IP packet flow, and OSI layers • Knowledge of routing technologies including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, RSVP, LDP, IGMP, PIM, and traffic engineering • Knowledge of switching and data center technologies including VLAN/Trunking, STP, RSTP, VSTP, VXLAN/EVPN, and IP-Fabric • Experience with traffic generators and network protocol analysis tools • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills applicable to large and complex network scenarios • Experience with Fortinet, Aruba, and Dell network products • Advanced knowledge of wireless networks • Experience with operating system architectures (*nix, FreeBSD), virtualization, hardware, scripting languages, and service daemons • Experience with virtualization stacks including VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, ProxMox, and Red Hat OpenShift • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud Management, Intune, and Autopilot • Knowledge of Windows 2022 Advanced Server roles and services • Experience with relevant technologies such as SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange, Windows 11, Active Directory, M365, MDM, MFA, SQL, JIRA, Fortigate, Cisco, Juniper, TCIP, IPSec, SNMP, VoIP, LAN/SAN storage, HP 3Par, Fiber Channel, iSCSI, functional/quality/load testing, and IT security technologies • CCNA, MCSE, and ITIL Foundation certifications are considered assets, not required • Competencies in adaptability/flexibility, interpersonal skills, organizational skills/multitasking, problem solving, and analytical skills
